Listen up.
These are some projects I’ve been working on recently
I wrote to the Afterlife- and turned the silence into a song
Letters To Heaven
Intro
(Instrumental)
Verse 1
No return address, no reply
But I hope these letters reach the sky.
Do you read the pages that I write?
I am the ink to your afterlife.
Pre-chorus
Will they reach you if I call your name?
Or will they fall like snow, on an unmarked grave.
Chorus 1
Letters to heaven, caught in the storm
Torn by wind faded and worn.
Whispers on paper, all my memories to you-
Each one a keepsake, from our faded youth.
Verse 2
I will always write to you under starlit skies
Replaying moments of our last goodbyes.
Your silence lingers on every page,
But in my dreams, you still show your face.
Pre-Chorus
Will they reach you, where you are?
Or fade like smoke beneath the stars?
Chorus 2
Letters to heaven, caught in the storm,
Torn by the wind, faded and worn.
Whispers on paper, my memories to you—
Chapters of our story, with stars guiding them through.
Chorus 3
Letters to heaven, caught in the storm
Torn by wind, faded and worn.
Whispers on paper, all my memories to you-
Each one a keepsake, from our faded youth.
Bridge
Every word I’ve written, the truth I meant to say,
Between these lines, my soul gives way.
Each vow I’ve inked, I can’t rescind—
Each stamp, a wound I fail to mend.
Overthinking
This is a project I am currently working on as my last assignment before graduating from Full Sail University.
The genre style I chose was a mix of Folk and rock. I wanted something I could put my emotions into as this is the biggest project of my college years.
This song is about getting too into your head about every little thing your mind can grasp onto. The feelings of relationships, social life, and how you carry yourself. Every thought tries to take its turn grabbing your attention in your head, but also trying to maintain a bright light to block those thoughts.
The lyric version will be coming soon, thank you for listening.
